We are pleased to announce that the 2009 TASER Conference and Master Instructor School will be held at the Fort McDowell Radisson Hotel and Resort in Fountain Hills, Arizona on Monday, July 27, 2009 through Friday, July 31, 2009. At the conference we will be presenting the latest innovations in TASER technology including a never before seen product. Presentations will be made by world renowned experts in the areas of non-lethal weapons, use of force, and legal and medical issues surrounding TASER electronic control devices. The 2009 TASER International Master Instructor School is a 4 -day certification course for both new and recertifying Master Instructors. Certification is valid for two years. Areas of emphasis will include safety considerations, scenario-based training, training drills, data downloads, and a review of the new information contained in the Version 15.0 training syllabus. All Master Instructors will be trained and certified as instructors on the new eXtended Range Electronic Projectile (XREP), the X12 dedicated less-lethal platform, the Shockwave area denial system, the Autonomous eXtended On-Officer Network (AXON) and Evidence.com, and a never before seen product. Master Instructor applicants must meet the general requirements and sign a release form on the first day of training. All Master Instructor applicants must attend the entire 5-day program (Conference and Master Instructor School) for Master Instructor certification consideration. New products, Medical research, non-lethal weapon research, and legal issues will be some of the topics covered at the conference. The fee for all Master Instructors is $500. Each successful Master Instructor candidate will take home over $1000 in new TASER products (a 200% return on investment). The fee for the one-day TASER Conference is $100. The TASER Conference fee will be waived for those attending the Master Instructor School. Lunch will be provided each day. There will be a reception on Monday evening following the conference.
